Word Of Testimony
Everyone after having given your life to Christ Jesus the redeemer of our souls is filled with His unspeakable joy and after being sealed by the Holy Spirit that day we repented our whole heart’s desire was to follow Jesus. We are given a ‘word of testimony’ by the Holy Spirit.
Isn’t a wonderful experience in every believer’s life? — that very moment we were so filled with His love knowing that are loved and forgiven.
That’s exactly what happened to each one of us when we surrendered all to Him doesn’t matter where we come from (birth place), the color of our skin and background, our family descent, our social status being rich or poor, ignorant or savvy, we all have one thing in common.
If we have truly made Him the Lord and Savior of our life. If we have come to Him just as we were, it really doesn’t matter!
All that matters now is Him, we no longer are who or what we used to be but God in us is who we are now and what we have today.
The scriptures say in the Book of Luke, chapter 5, “When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” “Master,” Simon replied, “we’ve worked hard all night long and caught nothing. But if you say so, I’ll let down the nets.” When they did this, they caught a great number of fish, and their nets began to tear. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them; they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’s knees and said, “Go away from me, because I’m a sinful man, Lord!” For he and all those with him were amazed at the catch of fish they had taken, and so were James and John, Zebedee’s sons, who were Simon’s partners. “Don’t be afraid,” Jesus told Simon. “From now on you will be catching people.” Then they brought the boats to land, left everything, and followed him. Luke 5:4-11 CSB
Who these followers of Jesus were? Fishermen. And what was their occupation(s)?
Fishing in the sea. Having met the Lord from fishermen, Jesus turned them into people catching for souls.
The day each one of us accepted Christ Jesus, we really felt that we’re forgiven and also found peace, love and joy with the Lord because our sins were forgiven, that’s something we know and are grateful for.
This joy came from God our father only by the Holy Spirit who dwells in our heart. This joy such unspeakable joy we wouldn’t even compare became a fire lit in us that cannot be extinguished.
We know we owe it to the Lord who saved us by His precious blood and we at all cost would go everywhere spreading the good news, all out for Jesus knowing these hopeless souls out there also can be rescued and that telling them your story will help find comfort and be encouraged that that’s Lord can do the same as He did for you.
And that’s “My word of testimony.”
